What is going on in the world today? Evil and lawlessness are on the rise everywhere! What is causing the major increases in the acts of violence, disorder, chaos, and anarchy? Is the coronavirus pandemic ultimately to blame or something else? What about the rising attacks on the church and against God’s word? Or the churches that are being shutdown with preachers thrown in jail? What about the Christians who are being persecuted in India, Iran, Pakistan, Russian, China and North Korea to name a few? Or how about the recent Easter message that was turned upside down by the former pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Senator Warnock of Georgia preached that “we are able to save ourselves.” How about the rising young gay star and rapper singer, Lil Nas X, that is promoting his Satan Nike shoes that feature a bronze pentagram and a drop of human blood? Worse, what about the preacher of America’s largest church that supported Lil Nas? Or what about the rise in hate between families? The bible foretold that these wicked things would happen in the last days, where lawlessness would increase and the love of many would grow cold. Jesus explains these last days as beginning sorrows or birth pains that would increase in frequency and intensity leading up to the great tribulation. Jesus, approximately 2,000 years ago, told his disciples what would happen in Matthew 24:8-12, “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.” God’s word also tells us during the end of days that family members, relatives, and friends would turn against each other. Christians will be persecuted and put to death because of their Lord and Savior, Jesus, as stated in Luke 21:12-19, “But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for My name’s sake. This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. You will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your lives.” These last days will be similar to the days of Noah’s time – Matthew 24:37-42. Peter, a disciple of Jesus, instructs us beforehand so that we will not fall away and will remain in God’s truth, through Jesus, as we read in 2 Peter 3:17-18, “You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” As Christians and believers in Christ we are called to expose, reject, and silence these false doctrines and foolish teachings since they lead many astray. We cannot let these go on deaf ears and must object to the hypocrisy and blasphemous words that are being taught today – Titus 1:10-16. We are commanded NOT to be ashamed of Jesus and the gospel message. For Jesus tells us that He will also be ashamed of us if we are ashamed of Him – Luke 9:26.
Many false prophets and false teachers have gone into the world to distort the truth of God’s word and commandments. They have denied Jesus as the true Messiah, in order to indulge in their own fleshly lusts and what the world has to offer. They chose to continue down the wrong path as the bible teaches in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.” Although they knew of God because of His creation and invisible attributes, they chose to reject God and His Son Jesus by honoring and worshipping themselves, including worshipping creation rather than the Creator. The atheists, agnostics, and the like chose to believe in foolish thinking that creation appeared by chance or Big Bang Theory and that humans evolved from monkeys, or evolution, and will be sadly mistaken at the great judgement day – Matthew 7:21-23. God has made it known to them that they will be without excuse as we read in Romans 1:19-21, “For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” When God and His Son are rejected, the spirit of the antichrist is being invoked. The apostle John provides us warnings for the spirit of the antichrist that was already in the world 2,000 years ago and how we can recognize these evil spirits as stated 1 John 4:1-4, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He (Jesus) who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world.” The false teachers are antichrists that will lead many down the wrong path filled with lies from Satan, the father of all lies, as explained in John 8:44, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” Jesus also warns us and tells us how we can discern these false teachers and false prophets – Matthew 7:15-20. These deceptive and false teachings will be so cleverly disguised to a degree of performing miraculous signs and wonders that many will be misled, even the saints, if possible as Jesus stated in Matthew 24:24-25, “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.” The bible also warns us of the evil beast or Antichrist that will rise out of the sea being possessed and powered by Satan – Revelation 13:1-8. Only Christians will be spared from God’s wrath at this time, where Jesus raptures all the saints. False prophets and teachings are an abomination to God and His hand will be against all of them – Deuteronomy 18:20, Ezekiel 13:9, Jeremiah 14:13-15. The false teachers and false prophets that are spreading lies and deny Jesus will NOT go unpunished. They will ALL experience God’s wrath – 2 Peter 2:1-3. These evil and wicked teachers are cursed like irrational animals because they love the ways of the wicked. They utter words of blaspheme that they do not understand and follow the ways of Balaam (false gods). God has reserved for them forever judgment in the most utter darkness – 2 Peter 2:12-17. With these false doctrines and teachings, Jesus tells us that there will be no forgiveness for them, and they will experience eternal hell and condemnation – Mark 3:28-29. The bible explains more about them in Jude 1:16-19, “These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.”
Many churches that used to teach so-called sound doctrines, have left the faith and truth. They have fallen away and have conformed to the world where they no longer mention the name of Jesus at all. Or if Jesus is mentioned, He is casually mentioned and NOT mentioned as the true Savior, the ONLY path to heaven, or as the true salvation. These churches have gone astray by performing false teachings and worshipping money, material possessions, worldly and fleshly lusts, and increasing members as opposed to worshipping God and Jesus. They no longer preach the gospel (good news) message. As a result, God will give them over to their own lusts and desires that will ultimately lead to their destruction as we read in Romans 1:24-32, “Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.” Jesus warns us that we cannot serve two masters, ourselves (money) or God. We will either love one and hate the other – Luke 16:13-15. We will either serve God or Satan – 1 Corinthians 10:21. When Jesus (the true light) is rejected or denied, Satan and his evil dominions (darkness) are invoked upon the earth. God’s word is very clear that we are NOT to worship any other gods for God is a very jealous God – Exodus 34:13-14, Deuteronomy 5:7-9, Matthew 4:10. Therefore, be on high alert for many of these churches and synagogues throughout the world do not preach the gospel message and the truth has been replaced with lies by the synagogue of Satan. Luke, a disciple of Jesus, gives us warnings in the book of Acts about wolves appearing in sheep’s clothing and speaking twisted words that would mislead many – Acts 20:28-30. God’s word tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the evil spirits of Satan. We must be watching and looking for the soon return of Jesus (Rapture) – Luke 21:28. As Christians, we must put on the full armor of God daily in order to withstand this uttermost darkness and continue our faithful walk with God – Ephesians 6:13-18.
All unbelievers (non-Christians) DO have hope because God’s word tells us we are all sinners and that He loved us with unfailing and unconditional love. Through God’s mercy and grace, He gave us true salvation. We just have to believe and accept it through His only Son Jesus. All that believe, receive, and confess that Jesus is the Son of God, Lord and Savior will be saved and have eternal life with the creator and be called a child of God!
