Beware of False Teachers and Antichrists Disguised in Sheep’s Clothing!

God’s holy word warns of false teachers and false gods nearly 60 times throughout the bible, both in the Old and New Testaments. God wants us to take heed and be able to recognize these false teachers and antichrists so that we will NOT be misled down a wrong path of lies (Satan, father of all lies). These false teachers will be lovers of the flesh and themselves and as a result will suppress the truth. The bible gives us this warning in 2 Timothy 4:3-5, “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” Some false teachings are easier to recognize than others, like atheism, agnostics, etc. God tells us that anyone who claims to NOT believe in God or a supreme being (deity) is a liar because God has made it known to them and they are without excuse as we read in Romans 1:19-21, “For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” What about the continued and increasing false teachings of more than one way to obtain salvation or many ways to get to heaven? There are many foolish scoffers in the world today that mock Jesus and spread false lies about Him, like the homosexual pastor that states Jesus was a racist. Another example is where professing gay, so-called gay Christians that are stating that Jesus had two dads. Also, other blasphemous accusations claim that Jesus was NOT without sin and that He had intercourse with Mary Magdalene or that they were both married. These are all false lies being spread by Satan himself (blasphemous) – John 8:44.

Some churches who appear and resemble to be legit, bible believing, and believe to be carrying out God’s will but do NOT have a relationship with Jesus will be in for a rude awakening at the great judgement dayMatthew 7:21-23. Other churches that may teach so-called sound doctrines, lack to ever mention the name of Jesus at all. Or if Jesus is mentioned, He is casually mentioned or when mentioned it is insincere while omitting the sinner’s prayer and neglecting the path to true salvation. Rather than giving up money, material possessions, worldly and fleshly lusts, and fear of losing church members repentance is far from them. These have chosen to conform to the world by worshipping themselves rather than God (Jesus) as we read in Romans 1:24-27, “Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.” Jesus tells us that we cannot serve two masters, ourselves (money) or God. We will either love one and hate the other – Luke 16:13-15. We will either serve God or Satan. Therefore, be on high alert for many of these churches and synagogues throughout the world do not mention the name of Jesus or have removed these teachings from their message. The gospel message has been replaced by the synagogue of Satan. Luke, one of Jesus’s disciples, gives us warnings in the book of Acts 20:28-30, “Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood. I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them.” When many of these churches pray, Jesus has also been removed from their prayers. God’s word tells us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against the evil spirits of Satan. As Christians, we must put on the full armor of God daily in order to withstand this uttermost darkness and continue our faithful walk with GodEphesians 6:13-18. When Jesus (the true light) is rejected or denied, Satan and his evil dominions (darkness) are invoked upon the earth. We can see this happening in America today: On Sunday, January 3, 2021, a known Methodist pastor for over 37 years and a Democratic US Representative from Missouri, Emanuel Cleaver, opened the 117th Congress with a prayer at the US Capitol for peace and racial reconciliation but ended his prayer WITHOUT the name of Jesus, and ended it with blasphemous words by the mentioning of “in the name of the monotheistic god, Brahma, and god known by many names by many different faiths, Amen and A-women.” Three days later, on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, the US Capitol and lawmaker’s chambers and offices were stormed and breached leaving destruction, 5 deaths with several injuries, and several law violations. Immediately after this event resulted in our nation’s lawmakers and military dispatching up to 7,000 National Guard troops to remain in Washington DC with barricades surrounding the US Capitol for over 3 months later. On February 26, 2021, during the Equality Act debate on Capitol Hill, Republican Jerry Nadler of NJ stated “…God’s will is NO concern of this Congress.” Beware of God’s soon wrath on America if we do not repent! God’s word is very clear that we are NOT to worship any other gods for God is a very jealous God – Exodus 34:13-14, Deuteronomy 5:7-9, Matthew 4:10.

The bible teaches us that as Jesus is removed and rejected, the spirit of the antichrist is being invoked. The apostle John provides warnings for the spirit of the antichrist that was already in the world 2,000 years ago and how to recognize these as stated in 1 John 4:1-4, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for He (Jesus) who is in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world.” The bible also warns us of the evil beast or Antichrist that will rise out of the sea being possessed and powered by SatanRevelation 13:1-8. Only Christians will be spared from God’s wrath at this time, where Jesus raptures all the saints. Jesus also warns us and tells us how we can discern the false prophets in Matthew 7:15-20, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.” These deceptive teachings from false christs will be so cleverly disguised to a degree of performing miraculous signs and wonders that many will be misled, even the saints, if possible as Jesus stated in Matthew 24:24-25, “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.”

We are reminded in 2 Peter 1:20-21, that true prophecy came by divine instructions from God through His Holy Spirit and appointed prophets as stated, “knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” Peter continues to instruct us beforehand so that we will not fall away and remain in God’s truth, through Jesus as we read in 2 Peter 3:17-18, “You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” As Christians and believers in Christ we are called to expose, reject, and silence these false doctrines and foolish teachings since they lead many astray. We cannot let these go on deaf ears and must object to the hypocrisy and blasphemous words that are being taught today as we read in Titus 1:10-16, “For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach…To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.” We are called NOT to be ashamed of Jesus and the gospel message. For Jesus tells us that He will also be ashamed of us if we are ashamed of Him as we read in Luke 9:26, “For whoever is ashamed of Me (Jesus) and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.”

False prophets and teachings are an abomination to God and His hand will be against all of them – Ezekiel 13:9. The bible also gives harsh instructions for false prophets that mislead and take away from God’s word. According to the Old Testament teachings, these false prophets are to be put to death for their evil actions as we read in Deuteronomy 18:20, “But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name that I have NOT commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.” God speaks through His prophet Jeremiah that these false prophets that prophesy lying visions will be destroyed by sword and famine – Jeremiah 14:13-15. The false teachers and false prophets that are spreading lies and deny Jesus will NOT go unpunished. They will experience God’s wrath as we read in 2 Peter 2:1-3, “But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master (Jesus) who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.” The evil and wicked teachers are cursed like irrational animals and love the ways of the wicked. They utter words of blaspheme that they do not understand and follow the ways of Balaam (false gods). God has reserved for them forever judgment in the most utter darkness2 Peter 2:12-17. With these false doctrines and teachings, Jesus tells us that there will be no forgiveness for them, and they will experience eternal hell and condemnation as we read in Mark 3:28-29, “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.” Jude explains more about them in Jude 1:16-19, “These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.”

All unbelievers (non-Christians) do have hope because God’s word tells us we are all sinners and that He loved us with unfailing and unconditional love. Through God’s mercy and grace, He gave us true salvation. We just have to believe and accept it through His only Son JesusAll that believe, receive, and confess that Jesus is the Son of God, Lord and Savior will be saved and have eternal life with the creator and be called a child of God!
