Will you be left behind when millions of people across the world disappear at the same time? If this event has taken place and you are reading this, then pay close attention to find out why this has happened and what will come next. This will be a future miraculous event that will amaze, startle, and surprise all those that are left behind as we read in 1 Thessalonians 5:2-6, “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night…Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.” Many friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors that you are acquainted with will disappear within a twinkling of an eye – Luke 17:34-36. In those days (End of Days), do NOT believe the lies of the world that will circulate about what has just taken place. There will be a famous, charismatic, and powerful ruler (Antichrist) that will tell you a lie about why this miraculous event has taken place – Mark 13:22-23. He may tell you that he caused these bad people (Christians) to disappear in punishment because they were haters, terrorists, or major resistance to his worldly agenda. Or the world may tell you that another more advanced alien race has chosen to remove these bad people since they would eventually cause future destruction to the earth. Whatever they tell you or promise you, do NOT believe their lies. This Antichrist will be possessed and under the influence of Satan himself. He will be given power and authority over the earth as we read in Revelation 13:1-8, “And I saw a beast rising out of the sea (Antichrist), with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon (Satan) gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?’ And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.”
So, why did this MAJOR EVENT (a.k.a Rapture) happen?The bible foretold and predicted this would happen for all believers (Christians) who are in Christ Jesus. Before Jesus ascended into heaven (left the earth 2,000 years ago), He told us He would return as we read in John 14:2-3 “In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” Jesus also told us to be watchful for no one knows the day or hour when He will return, except God the Father – Mark 13:32-33. Jesus explained this to His disciples that we would only know the season like beginning birth labor pains of darkness in the world as stated in Matthew 24:6-8, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” Jesus also tells us that the evil in the end times will be like the days during Noah’s time before God destroyed the world with the Great Flood – Matthew 24:36-39. Because we are believers, we are aliens of this world and our true home is in heaven with our Lord Jesus as we read in Philippians 3:20-21, “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” Over 2,000 years ago, God created a new spiritual covenant (free gift) of true salvation for all of us that believed and received it (by faith) through the death and resurrection of His only Son Jesus. Jesus paid the ultimate price at Calvary by dying on the cross in our place for our sins as a true Savior for a sinful creation (us in the flesh). Jesus tells us the truth in the gospel of John, John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” In the flesh, we are all sinners and will die, but in Christ we are made spiritually alive and will be resurrected with Christ at the rapture – 1 Corinthians 15:22-23. Our earthly bodies will be converted to heavenly bodies within a flash – 1 Corinthians 15:40. The apostle Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:50-52, “I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.” The bible tells us how the believers will be resurrected (Raptured) in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”
So, What will happen next? Jesus raptured all Christians to spare us from God’s great wrath (great tribulation) that will take place next on earth as we read in Romans 5:8-9, “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.” The bible tells us that whoever (unbelievers) REJECTED God and the gospel message of Jesus Christ will experience a great tribulation of God’s wrath as we in John 3:36, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” Also, the Old Testament prophet Daniel explained it in Daniel 12:1-3, “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.” There will great distress and fear among all during the tribulation (end of days) of God’s wrath, such as never seen before as stated in Revelation 6:15-17, “And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’ ” Just prior to God’s wrath pouring out on the earth, Satan and his fallen angels are finally kicked out of heaven and thrown down to the earth after being defeated by (God/Jesus) Michael and His angels (war in heaven) as we read in Revelation 12:7-9, “Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.” Then a loud voice from heaven gave the earth a major warning, since Satan will now cause great wrath on the earth due to being out of time as stated in Revelation 12:12, “…But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”
If you are reading this and have missed the rapture (or are Left Behind), it is NOT too late for you. God is a great, loving, and merciful God. His word tells us that people will be saved during this time of great tribulation on the earth as long as you reject the mark of the beast (become saved by praying the sinners prayer) as stated in Revelation 13:16-18, “He (Antichrist) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” We see that all that who reject his mark will be punished by death as stated in Revelation 20:4, “Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had NOT worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands.” If you are reading this before the rapture, then you do not need to wait before obtaining true salvation in Christ Jesus, since we believe the earth is now experiencing the pre-tribulation birthing pains of darkness.
