Exactly 245 years ago, on July 4, 1776, the United States of America (USA) was declared as a free nation founded on biblical principles as one nation under God. Prior to America’s independence, the pilgrims originally left Great Britain in hopes of finding a new land to settle and raise their families while practicing their religious freedoms of worshipping and serving the one and only true living God. They left to get away from Great Britain’s pagan society and cult practices. In the beginning establishments of America’s society, our founding fathers were not perfect as no one is perfect, but the founding majority were indeed bible believing Christians. As a result, America has been extremely blessed by God consequently due to our original founding father’s relationship and spiritual walk with God through Christ Jesus. As America was formed, these Christian founders established laws based on “the book”, or according to God’s Holy Word. Praise God that we are still considered, today, as a free nation to worship and pray to God our Father and Jesus His Son, our Messiah! But for how long?
God’s word tells us why America has been so blessed for nearly a quarter of a millennial as we read in Psalms 33:12-15, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage! The LORD looks down from heaven; He sees all the children of man; from where He sits enthroned, He looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, He who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds.” God has protected America for many years as the scriptures tell us in Psalms 18:30, “As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Another reason for God’s blessings on America is due to our continued support for the nation of Israel and its people, where God made a covenant with Abraham over 4,100 years ago as explained in Genesis 12:2-3, “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” The nation of Israel is the apple of God’s eye, and He continues to bless those that bless the Jewish nation. – Deuteronomy 32:10, Psalms 17:8, Zechariah 2:8.
Oh, how America has changed! America no longer acknowledges or trusts in the true living God. America has become a melting pot of many pagan religions and demonic cults that has dominated its society. America’s governing policies and laws continue supporting the wicked and sinful ways like that of Sodom & Gomorrah. The bible reveals strict warnings for nations that forget God as stated in Psalms 9:17, “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” The prophet Isaiah continues with this warning as revealed in Isaiah 60:12, “For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish, and those nations shall be utterly ruined.” During the 2020-2021 COVID-19 pandemic, many Churches were forced to close with pastors thrown in jail from our own government deeming these as non-essential entities. However, the grocery stores, alcohol/liquor stores, drug pharmacies, and others were deemed essential. Was this the enemy’s first attempt to shut down and persecute the Churches in America? Will this continue and be more extreme in the future? As Christians, if you are allowed to feed your physical bodies daily; then you should likewise be allowed to feed your spiritual souls on a daily basis. When the enemy, Satan, tempted our Savior Jesus during a low point after fasting for 40 days in the wilderness, Jesus revealed God’s truth as we read in Matthew 4:1-4, “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, ‘If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.’ But He answered and said, ‘It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” America desperately needs a revival across the entire land!
Please continue to pray for our country, our military, and our law makers that we will turn back to God as our founding fathers during America’s independence. Support and recognize our troops and those that have fallen for our freedoms. If America turns back to God and repents of her sins, God will heal the land as He stated in 2 Chronicles 7:14-15, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
