At America’s Independence in 1776, God and His word were the forefront that was included in all written laws and policies. America is a much different country today than what our forefathers envisioned and created us to be. Oh, how the times have changed in this country? God and His word have continued to be removed from America’s rule making, laws, policies, and regulations. This includes lawmakers removing every form of God, His word, and the gospel of Jesus Christ from all government, public, institutionalized, and business facilities. One major law ruling that went against God’s word was the legalization of child abortions, which took place in 1973. Since being legalized, there have been over 63 million abortions (killing of innocent children), which is more deaths than all the previous major world wars combined since history began. Law makers have ruled against the wishes of many of its citizens including the church, ProLife.com, ProLifeAction.org, ProLifeAcrossAmerica.org, and other organizations. Abortions are now paid for by all of America’s citizens (taxpayers), causing us to commit sin against God’s word and His will for us. In America, we have eliminated God by going against His word and His commandments. We are guilty of omitting God and His kingdom from our morals and way of life. America and all its politicians and lawmakers need our prayers for repentance and we all desperately need a revival in this land! If America does NOT repent and change her ways, we will soon see a similar destruction (God’s Wrath) as in the days of Sodom & Gomorrah. The bible tells what will happen for a nation that continues to REJECT God as stated in Romans 1:28-32, “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”
Have we become a wicked nation like the nation of Israel many years ago when they rejected God as stated by the prophet Isaiah? The bible explains how a sovereign nation becomes a wicked nation in the eyes of God as stated in Isaiah 5:20-24, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight! Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, and valiant men in mixing strong drink, who acquit the guilty for a bribe, and deprive the innocent of his right! Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and as dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom go up like dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts…” One of God’s ten commandments’ states in Exodus 20:13, “you shall not murder,” and in Leviticus 24:17, as part of the Old Testament (OT) laws, it states, “whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death.” With the innocent killing of children in the womb, this is an abomination unto God. The bible tells us that God hates the shedding of innocent blood among other things as stated in Proverbs 6:16-19, “There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” God tells us of the punishment for injuring innocent children according to OT laws, as a life for a life, as we read in Exodus 21:22-25, “When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman’s husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”
We are all created in the image of God, both male and female – Genesis 1:27. The bible tells us that God formed us in the womb and has plans for all of us. We were recorded in His book as we read in Psalm 139: 13-16, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.” God does not reveal everything to us because He is the almighty and all-powerful God over the universe, earth, and all living creatures. His word tells us this as we read in Ecclesiastes 11:5, “As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.” Even though a mother may forget its newborn child, if possible, God tells us that He will never forget us as we read in Isaiah 49:15-16, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands…” God tells us that children are a reward from Him and that we are to always cherish this – Psalms 127:3-5. We also see that unborn infants, when in the womb, are very much alive as the unborn, John the Baptist, leaped for joy in the womb of Elizabeth as stated in Luke 1:41-44, “And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, ‘Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.’ ” DO NOT believe the lies that children in the womb are NOT alive and can be aborted because they are still at conception. NOT TRUE. The child is alive after day one. God’s only Son, Jesus tells us the importance of little children and what happens if we cause little children to stumble as explained in Matthew 18:2-6, “Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, ‘assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.’ ” How much more is our punishment for aborting over 63 million innocent and living infants in the womb?
It is especially important that we follow God’s word and commandments. Jesus teaches us the true importance of God’s holy word in the gospel of Matthew 24:35, “heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Jesus tells us that God’s word is more important than heaven and earth. As a wicked nation, we should repent of our sins and seek God and His kingdom first through His Son Jesus Christ, or else we will discover God’s Wrath and Judgement! In Romans 2:5, it states, “But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.” It is extremely important that we repent and turn back to God and NOT reject Him! If we continue to reject God and His Son Jesus, the bible tells us that we are doomed for death and destruction in the eternal lake of fire (Hell). The gospel of John tells us about receiving true salvation through God’s only Son Jesus as we read in John 3:36, “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life (eternal life), but the wrath of God abides on him.” So, where will you spend eternity when you die? Or will you go to heaven when die? We must be ready and prepared for the soon return of Jesus (rapture)!
Do you know where you will spend eternity after you die on earth? Will Jesus be your Lord and Savior or your eternal judge – John 3:15-21, Romans 2:16, 2 Timothy 4:1? Jesus says He is the narrow gate to heaven where it is difficult to find and only a few will enter by it where many will enter the easy, wide and broad gate that leads to Hell and destruction – Matthew 7:13-14. Will you experience the second eternal death (spiritual death) – Revelation 2:11, Revelation 20:6, Revelation 21:8? Do you know for sure that you are written in the eternal Lamb’s Book of Life – Revelation 3:5, Revelation 20:12-15? The place called Hell is NOT a myth and is very real and an extremely scary place – Watch this Video!
